EdgeCut Live Arts

EdgeCut Live Arts is a series of experiments at the intersection of live performance and digital culture—looking at the many ways interactivity, games, robotics, wearables, AI, and other digital technologies inform new practices in live performance.

Among these experiments is Word.Art, a salon-style live event series that presents 3-5 short works of live art which centers language as an expressive medium, co-curated by luminaries of the new media arts and live performance scene. Durational works of 5-20 minutes in length are presented via open call, and can include sound, movement, theatrical storytelling, literature, film, code, as well as any hard-to-categorize new modes in between.
